Academic Mobility

If you have decided to develop an academic mobility, there are different academic units that can support this process. The Direction of International Relations of the Fculty of Engineering is available to help you with questions regarding academic mobility. In turn, the Department of International and Interuniversity Relations (DRII, for its abbreviation in Spanish) is the one that promotes and manages the calls to different programs or networks to support academic and/or postdoctoral research or attendance at events. Finally, the Vice Presidency for Research, Development and Innovation (VRIDEI, for its abbreviation in spanish) and the Scientific and Technological Directorate (DICYT, for its abbreviation in Spanish) also make available a calendar of annual calls.

Are you an academic from a foreign university and would like to develop a mobility in USACH?

If that is the case, there are different access routes:

- If you have funds for mobility, you should only coordinate with the Engineering Department or academic staff that will receive your stay and manage your term in our university with the support of the Faculty of Engineering and the DRII

- If you do not have funds for mobility, you should check the calls that come up each semester and apply to obtain the financing you require. At the end of this page you will see the file "invitation for foreign academics" which is a summary of the 2018 calls, equivalent to the current funding networks.

Whatever your case is, you can download the file "Manual for foreign academics" prepared by the DRII, thinking about your arrival in Santiago and the USACH.
